Much of Mariano Sigman and Dan Ariely’s social science research attempts to answer one big question: how do people make good decisions? In one of the first new format videos from TED Studio, Mariano explains some discoveries made in large scale group experiments conducted at various TED conferences around the world. TED Creative Director Angela Cheng asked me to create a series of animated illustrations and infographics to help explain some of the more complex concepts from the research. Since publication, the video has had one of the highest watch through rates on TED.com.
