Upon graduating Parsons, Maya Sariahmed and I were asked to design a visual identity for the 2010 Communication Design / Design & Technology Thesis Exhibition. Guided by faculty member and type guru Pablo Medina, we developed a graphic theme inspired by some some of the tools and materials students had become all too familiar with in their time there. We wanted the branding to change a little every time a visitor saw it. Our system modulated and morphed as it went from vinyl wall graphics to printed invitations, from animated video bumpers to project labels. This meant a lot of hard work and late nights, but it also meant a lot of fun.
